tribal horse by neodragonarts tribal horse by neodragonarts
an old tribal design that i did i think back in november? i used a picture of an Arab for this piece, but alas, it was so long ago, i don't remember what picture it was so i can't really give proper credit to the photographer....i've also noticed that i've been finding a lot of older pieces lately, i'll try to upload some more, even though some of them are still WIP's

Woah, I've been inspired! This is a wonderful example of tribal art. I've always wanted to do decent tribal work, but mine always suck... Lol =P

I love how grown-out the horse's mane is. Really gives off a feeling of freedom xD

Nice ^_^ Does Chris also ride frequently?
I remember riding before. It would be fun to try side saddling sometime :D

chris used to ride a lot, he did a lot of the reining and roping back in Oklahoma. he rides occasionally now when he gets the chance.

Cool ^_^ Do you prefer riding English or western style?

well i was taught to ride with an english saddle so i feel more comfortable using one, but i ride western as well when i'm not working horses. the funny thing is that my horse, summer, knows the difference between the two saddles and what each means. like her english saddle= work and her western saddle= play

You know what? This is actually really good!! The anatomy on this is next to perfect and the simple tribal work makes it stand out that much more! The pose is very dramatic and off balance which is an immediate eye-catcher, I honestly thought this was *Arixona's work!! :la:

Lol shoe box :XD:. I have a couple of massive tubs under my bed (they're roughly the same size as A1 paper) with all my old artwork, spare sketch books, paints, chalks, fabrics, tissue paper, pastels, brushes, pencils, pens, markers... I pretty much have an art shop under my bed lol!

lol shoe box for some sketchies, then the rest of a small room full of paints, fabrics, various types of papers, and sketch books, that doesn't include the canvases that have yet to find a home and my one randomly huge fan that needs to be painted :dummy: do you ever stop to think that we have to much art stuffs?

Nice!

(can you place the logo like on the coners or something? It throws the picture off some O_o)

i would, but they kind of have to be obnoxiously placed in the middle of the pic as to discourage art theft (yush it's happened to me before) and if i put the watermark in the corner, it makes it too easy to be removed.
